Estate Sale Information

We liquidate personal property on-site, conducting private sales only. We invite dealers and

buyers from the general public whom we know will purchase merchandise. We created this
business model due to Covid-19, but it was so successful that we decided to keep this format!
Sweet Home Estate Liquidation handles all the aspects of the sale: before, during, and after.
Therefore, the executor, trustee, conservator or owner need not be present.

As estate liquidators, we are devoted to selling as much personal property as possible within a
very short period of time. Pricing the items to sell quickly, yet advantageously, requires a vast
knowledge of information and lots of experience. Our staff has been involved in the antique
and/or estate liquidation industry for well over 35 years. Combined, our team is able to price
all different kinds of items found in a home, remaining sensitive to fair market value, current
local trends, and local market values. By and large, local market trends are one of the largest
indicators of price.

We pride ourselves on our high level of integrity while at the same time conducting estate sales
in a fast and efficient manner. We have access to on-line auctions, value data bases, and a
huge library of reference books. We are confident in our ability to assess a wide range of
personal property – from the junk in the drawers to the fine art hanging on the walls. If there
are extremely valuable items, we counsel our clients on the best way to sell those
items, i.e. which dealer and/or auction house should be contacted.
