SERVICES AND FEES

Appraisals: $150.00 an hour (free with liquidation)
   
Liquidation: Sweet Home receives 35% of liquidation proceeds.
(Negotiable within certain parameters.)
   
Clean-outs: Complete clean-outs estimated in advance.

ESTATE LIQUIDATION

Once an estate has been evaluated, a signed contract must be received seven days prior to any liquidation date. After the contract is received, advertising and set-up can begin. Generally, 2-3 days is required to properly prepare an estate for liquidation. Most estate sales are two-day events, held Friday and Saturday, but adjustments can be made.

  • We will sell everything from the car in the driveway to the items in the drawers
After the sale, all sale merchandise is removed and homes are broom-cleaned to help facilitate the preparation and sale of real property. If a complete clean-out is required, it is at this time that hauling and dumping begin. Generally, one day is needed to clear out an estate. Within 7 days of the sale, proceeds from the sale and an itemized inventory of items sold will be mailed out Certified Mail (signature required upon delivery).
