Lucky, an 8 year old domestic, neutered male cat, has recently lost his elderly owner. The caretaker is moving back to the Phillipines and wants to find Lucky a new home.

Lucky, like many cats, likes to drink from the water faucet. He's also an indoor/outdoor cat; uses a litter box; and enjoys sleeping with his owner at night. He tends to be rough when playing, so we think it's best he go to a home where there are no small children. Since he lived with an elderly man, he is not use to visitors and he is rather shy when he meets new people. Lucky will need a patient new owner who will give Lucky the time he needs to adjust to a new home and a new owner. Once he gets adjusted, Lucky will provide years of love and appreciation!! He's a real sweetheart. He has shared his yard & garage with a small colony of feral cats so he can probably live with other cats. He is healthy and looking forward to his new forever home. Please call 650-340-1833 if you are interested. Lucky is currently living in the Sunset District of SF.

***How did Lucky get his name? Lucky was found by the caretaker, 8 years ago, in the backyard. He was a small kitten, near death. The caretaker spotted him on a Friday, returned on Monday, and thought that he was dead. She picked him up and brought him indoors; she put him in front of a heater and within a few minutes, he let out a little cry. From there, the caretaker bottle fed him, nursing him to a happy, healthy state. Lucky was indeed lucky once. Now, 8 years later, will Lucky be lucky again? Please, consider giving this handsome fellow a loving home - he's in a situation that is out of his control. He has about two safe weeks left - after that, he will have to brought to the SFSPCA where his chances of adoption are nil and none.

***Sweet Home Estate Liquidation will provide an adoption gift to the kind people who give Lucky a second chance.
