CLEAN-OUT SERVICES

All estates are left broom-clean, however, most clients prefer to have the houses completely cleared out to help facilitate the sale of real property. Some houses have “years of accumulation” and require extensive time and energy to dispose of unwanted debris and personal property.

We do our best to estimate clean-out fees prior to the sale, but accurate assessments are sometimes difficult to achieve -- there is no way to know how much merchandise will be left after an estate sale is conducted. (Charities are extremely picky about the merchandise they accept. Most do not accept TV’s, radios, and other electrical equipment. Nor do they accept mattresses, sofas, or bicycles. Anything they do accept must be in very good condition.) The charges listed below are approximate and intended to serve only as a guide in helping customers understand the expenses involved when cleaning out property.

The hauling service we currently use charges $500 to dispose of an 18 cubic yard truckload of debris (12' x 8' x 5').
